  • It is an olive oil with a delicious aroma, unique to the Edremit Bay region, quite fluid as a result of the effects it gets from the region 
    where it grows, with a fresh fruit taste and grass smell. A slight and temporary bitterness and burning sensation on the palate and tongue 
    tip is the characteristic feature of this oil. It has the Northern Aegean Extra Virgin Olive Oils Geographical Indication Registered by 
    the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. The acidity is 0.8% maximum.

    Malzemeler:

    1,5kg ince uzun patlıcan
    4-5 adet çarliston biber, irice doğranmış
    3-4 adet küçük domates

    Köfte için:

    Yarım kg kıyma
    1 yumurta
    1 kuru soğan
    2-3 diş sarımsak
    2-3 dilim ekmek içi (fırında kurutulup rondoda çekilmiş)
    Tuz ve karabiber

    Sos için:

    2-3 domates
    zeytinyağ
    1 çay bardağı su
    Tuz

    Hazırlanışı:

    Patlıcanların kabuklarının bir kısmını ortadan kesin, böylece diğer dilimlerken kenarlarında çizgiler kalsın. Dilimleri tuzlayın veya tuzlu suda bekletin. Bu arada köfteyi hazırlayın. Köfte harcındaki tüm malzemeleri karıştırıp yoğurun. Harçtan yumurtadan biraz küçük parçalar koparıp yuvarlayın. Cam tepside fırına sürüp 200 derecede pişirin. Köfteler pişerken patlıcanları rafine zeytinyağında hafif pembeleşene kadar kızartın.
